Forwards Electric was born from our passion for bikes. It’s the electric bike division of Forwards, our custom bike brand built on craftsmanship, performance and individuality.

At Forwards, we pride ourselves on creating beautiful, one-off custom bikes. Expanding into electric bikes was a natural evolution, allowing us to channel that same passion into offering compelling alternatives to the car, without compromising on the quality of the riding experience.

From high-performance electric mountain bikes to premium speed pedelecs, folding bikes and practical cargo solutions, our range reflects the different ways electric bikes can transform how we ride and travel.

Our journey into electric bikes began with Stromer. After experiencing their bikes in Amsterdam several years ago, the idea of bringing this distinctive approach to electric mobility to the UK stayed with us. We waited until the timing was right, and today we're proud to offer fully UK-registered Stromer speed pedelecs, engineered to make longer journeys and everyday commuting a genuine alternative to the car.

Our range has since grown to include Tern, renowned for its innovative folding and cargo bikes, and Amflow, whose high-performance electric mountain bikes showcase the advanced engineering of the Avinox drive system. Each brand brings a distinct perspective, united by a commitment to thoughtful design, innovative technology and an exceptional riding experience.

Our interest in electric bikes goes beyond the products themselves. We have a particular appreciation for the engineering that makes them work, from Bosch drive systems to Stromer's own SYNO Drive technology and the latest developments in Avinox.
